We are very selective in choosing brands, thus creating a discerning quality portfolio, which in combination with our exceptional service is a successful formula for both our partners and our customers. On September 1, 2011, we at Banville & Jones started our own distribution company in the states of New York and New Jersey. We are now distributing wineries from California, Oregon, France, Austria, South Africa and Spain. Our goal is to become a leading fine wine distributor in NY and NJ by representing wineries of top quality in a focused portfolio. Three Blind Flights On Monday September 24th at the NoMad Hotel in New York City, Fred Dexheimer MS led a blind comparative tasting of 2008 vintages with nine top New York City Sommeliers. The wines were ranked from most favorite to least favorite and were judged on balance, ageability and pleasurability. This was the final ranking in each of the three flights: Flight 1—Sangiovese 1.
