Three Blind Flights

On Monday September 24th at the NoMad Hotel in New York City, Fred Dexheimer MS  led a blind comparative tasting of 2008 vintages with nine top New York City Sommeliers. The wines were ranked from most favorite to least favorite and were judged on balance, ageability and pleasurability.

This was the final ranking in each of the three flights:

Flight 1—Sangiovese
